0spooky2me (Spooky's House of Jumpscares)

I am a perfectionist. I am also lazy. When these two things are mixed, you can never seem to get anything done in a reasonable amount of time. So recently I gave myself a challenge: sit down and create a new picture, from start to finish, in just two days. The result is Spooky from Spooky's House of Jumpscares. Of course.

This is based on an idea I had ages back, when I was on a Super Paper Mario kick. I'd intended to draw Dimentio, my favorite villain, holding two marionettes, one of Mario and one of Count Bleck. That picture never materialized, so I dredged it up again for the challenge. I decided to draw Spooky instead, since I'm now on a Spooky's House of Jumpscares kick (oh, I'm sorry, I mean "Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion" - apparently some dumb copyright crap went down backstage).

I created this with my Bamboo tablet. I'm not used to painting with it, so a little extra practice is called for.

Did I meet my challenge? From start to finish, this picture took me a total of three days. The challenge demanded two. So no. I'm a loser.

_{P.S.  If they needed to change the name due to copyright trouble, then couldn't they have renamed it "Spooky's Mansion of Jumpscares" instead? "Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion" just doesn't sound right.}
